About the role
RiverWoods Durham is currently hiring for an experienced Line Cook to join their Dining team. This role offers full-time employment with benefits and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepares all hot and cold food items on the menu for residents and staff according to production sheets and standardized recipes.
- Maintains the highest standards of sanitation and food handling practices during food production tasks.
- Maintains regular communication with the Sous Chef and/or Director of Culinary Operations to review and confirm daily production amounts, culinary techniques, and timing for resident meal services and special events.
- Attends in-service trainings.
- Maintains a clean, pristine, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
- 2-4 years Culinary experience preferred as a Line Cook.
- ServSafe Certificate preferred.

Schedule
Typical shifts run between 10:00am and 8:00pm; Flexible Schedule options exist but typically would include 1 weekend day a week.
