Qualifications
- Working knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs
- Intermediate computer proficiency (e.g., data entry, basic spreadsheets, document management)
- Ability to stand firm on quality issues while maintaining respect with staff
- Excellent attendance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Mandatory to work overtime, including weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in a QA Technician or QA Lead Technician role
- Knowledge of the company’s products and equipment
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., USDA, FDA, third-party audits)
- Strong focus, time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Monitor HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and other QA programs.
Support the QA Supervisor in managing and enforcing the plant’s food safety and quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to company standards.
Maintain consistent product quality and safety by monitoring product specifications, detailed documentation, real-time corrective actions, and clear communication across all levels of the production process.
