FSP Senior Metrologist
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include only sections with real content. The posting includes:
- Intro paragraph: "Join us as a Senior Metrologist..." etc. That's about the role. Could be "About the role" heading.
- "What You’ll Do:" list of duties. That's responsibilities.
- "Education and Experience:" list of qualifications/requirements. Could be "Requirements" or "Qualifications". We'll decide.
- "Responsibilities:" again list (duplicate). Actually there is a "Responsibilities:" section later with list. We need to combine? The posting has both "What You’ll Do:" and later "Responsibilities:" with similar content. We should preserve all substantive info, not duplicate? We should not repeat identical lines? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." It doesn't say to deduplicate, but we should avoid duplication if it's same content repeated. However there may be slight differences. Let's compare:
What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine and remedial maintenance on active instrumentation and equipment.
- Perform Calibrations/Qualifications on active instrumentation and equipment to include IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification) and PQ (Performance Qualification).
- Provide installation oversight of new laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Review vendor documentation relating to pm, calibration/qualification and repairs.
- Assist and prepare SOPs pertaining to operation, maintenance and calibration of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Address audits (internal or external client) on laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Evaluate lab support records for compliance with SOPs, review for completeness and accuracy and reports findings.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve vendor-executed calibration, maintenance, repair, and performance verification documents.
- Prepare documentation for Quality Assurance approval prior to work execution.
- Monitor schedules to ensure timely completion of calibration, performance verification testing, and maintenance services.
- Ensure calibration testing on laboratory equipment follows established protocols.
- Oversee vendors during work execution, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance practices.
- Immediately report any deviations, discrepancies, or safety concerns and propose/implement corrective actions.
- Ensure instruments are ready for use after vendor work completion.
- Collaborate with the quality unit to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and address compliance concerns to meet GMP regulatory standards.
- Regularly review and prioritize customer equipment performance verification and support requests, responding promptly.
- Interact effectively with laboratory, Quality Assurance, and other departments as necessary.
- Interface with customers to ensure their expectations are met.
These are distinct, so we should keep both under Responsibilities (maybe combine into one list). Could also split into two sub-sections but instruction says prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So combine all duties into one Responsibilities ul.
- Education and Experience: list includes education, experience, familiarity, etc. That's Requirements/Qualifications.
- Also there is "Working Conditions and Environment:" and "Physical Requirements:" which could be under "Work Schedule" etc. There's also "Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)" at top. Also "Environmental Conditions Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards". So we have schedule and working conditions.
- There's "Compensation And Benefits" with pay range and benefits details. So we need Pay and Benefits sections.
- There's "Why Join Us?" which is more about company culture; could be under "About the role" or separate? Could be a section like "About Thermo Fisher" but not required. We could incorporate into About the role.
- There's also "Working Conditions and Environment:" and "Physical Requirements:" which could be under a "Work Environment" section, but we only have headings for Benefits, Pay, Schedule. There's no heading for Work Environment in the allowed list. The allowed headings are: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to fit content into those. Physical requirements and working conditions could go under "Requirements" maybe? Or "Skills"? Probably "Requirements" includes education/experience, but also physical demands could be considered requirements. We'll include them under Requirements.
- Schedule: we have "Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)". Also mention occasional drives, domestic travel. So we can put Schedule section.
- Pay: we have compensation range.
- Benefits: we have benefits list.
- Skills: maybe we can extract skills from responsibilities: e.g., communication, documentation, etc. But we may not need a separate Skills section if content thin. Better to avoid thin sections. We'll omit Skills if not enough distinct content.
- Requirements: include education/experience, familiarity with equipment, cGMP, GDP, etc., plus physical requirements and working conditions.
- About the role: include introductory paragraphs about role, mission, impact, etc., plus "Why Join Us?" maybe.
Now we need to strip boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. There's no explicit EEO etc. There's a link for benefits but we can keep that as part of benefits.
We must not include headings with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
