The Financial Services Organization (FSO) at EY is seeking a skilled professional to lead technology-enabled transformation programs for insurers. Our team works closely with clients to implement Guidewire Digital solutions, enhance data management, and optimize operations.
About the role
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with clients to design and implement technology solutions that address their business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Guidewire Digital applications and a strong background in insurance technology.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to define and implement technology solutions for insurance transformation programs.
- Assist in the analysis of business requirements and the development of technology architecture.
- Support the design and implementation of Guidewire Digital solutions, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter integrations.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure successful project delivery, including managing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on best practices in software engineering, including code reviews and deployment strategies.
- Contribute to the development of impact analyses and end-to-end solutions across various systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant work experience in insurance or consulting.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant work experience in front-end technologies.
- Proven experience in Guidewire Digital development, including experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter integrations.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services, and familiarity with Guidewire's Digital architecture and micro-frontends.
- Knowledge of Guidewire Enterprise Engage and Jutro Digital Platform, and experience with system selection and implementation.
- Ability to perform impact analyses and drive end-to-end solutions across connecting systems.

- Experience with data warehousing, enterprise data design, and enterprise application integration.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to research and provide alternative solution options.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present technical information to clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster an inclusive work environment.
- Experience with management reporting enhancement and business intelligence/decision support.

Pay
The base salary range for this role in the US is $142,600 to $261,500, with a higher range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).
Schedule
We offer a hybrid work model, with most people in external, client-serving roles expected to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Employees are also granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence.
