About the role

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team at EY is growing rapidly. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in this growth by driving client relationships, leading project teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences through high-profile engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues
  • Collaborating with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations
  • Ensuring the Engagement team thoroughly understands clients' unique needs, ambitions, and expectations
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service
  • Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes
  • Regular travel to meet with key clients, including those in the most respected fields

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field, with 5 to 8 years of audit or consulting experience in a public accounting firm
  • US CPA licensure in your work state location
  • Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge
  • A deep understanding of the marketplace, including commonly used terminology, processes, and tools
  • A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring, and improving a team of high-performing colleagues
  • The confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary

Qualifications

  • A master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Work experience in a large firm
  • Knowledge of current market issues in financial services in the US
  • Experience with FP&A and Reinsurance

Benefits

At EY, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $112,700 to $206,500 in all geographic locations in the US, and $135,200 to $234,800 in the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento). Individual salaries are determined based on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. We also offer a total rewards package that includes medical and dental coverage, pension, and a 401(k) plan, along with a range of paid time off options.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $112,700 to $206,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $135,200 to $234,800.

We offer a flexible vacation policy where you decide how much vacation time you need based on your personal circumstances.
