About the role
Join our Financial Services Office (FSO) and work with multi-disciplinary teams from around the world to deliver a global market perspective. Aligned to key industry groups including asset management and private equity, banking and capital markets, and insurance, we provide integrated assurance, consulting, strategy & transactions, and tax services to our clients.
As part of the BBC market segment (Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, and Cayman Islands), you will receive unmatched exposure and experience with our growing portfolio of diverse FSO clients.
We have excellent opportunities for Audit Managers to join our FSO Wealth & Asset Management team. You’ll help clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Responsibilities
- Balance time between managing a team of assurance professionals across a portfolio of projects and personally engaging with clients.
- Perform complex and specific audit procedures while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies.
- Coach and manage a team of audit professionals, ensuring they have the information, tools, and opportunities to grow.
- Proactively build relationships to support tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development.
- Identify and react to potential risks, and develop new ways to improve products and processes that promote growth and increase revenue.
- Continually update your understanding of business trends and emerging technologies to maintain your reputation as a trusted business advisor.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm, ideally with experience serving clients in the wealth & asset management industry (e.g., mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, or other investment vehicles).
- An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification, such as CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Engagement management, execution, and reporting skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Confidence in prioritizing when managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a collaborative approach to management.
- Flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

- Creative and agile thinking with a genuine interest in improving audit capabilities.
- Strong technical and personal skills to understand clients and provide excellent services.
- Knowledge of current market issues in the Wealth & Asset Management sector (preferred).
