Job Summary

The Registered Nurse at TriStar Mt. Juliet ER coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ Years of ER RN Experience Required!
• 2-3 Years of ICU Experience in lieu of ER Experience.
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

TriStar Mt. Juliet ER is part of TriStar Summit, a 230+ bed comprehensive facility serving Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center offering a full array of acute care services including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center.
