About the role

We are seeking a software engineer to serve as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops software applications. This role involves the design and development of microservices, APIs, custom web-based interfaces, and other software applications per business requirements. The position requires completing hands-on coding assignments on time and with high quality.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases, pain points, and requirements to advocate for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, and agile methodologies.
• Develop software tools in the field of Test Data Management using industry standards such as ASAM ODS, TDD, and Software Craftsmanship.
• Manage the environment including servers, database, configuration, and security in accordance with best practices.
• Assess application requirements to determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, and deployment strategy.
• Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, and architects.
• Continuously improve and optimize application performance and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages.
• Troubleshoot application and performance issues in GCP.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 8+ years in IT; 6+ years in development
• Practical experience in two coding languages or advanced practical experience in one language
• Technical Skills: GCP Cloud Run, J2EE, Angular, GCP, SQL, Big Query, Microservices
