Frontline Leader - Shipping (2nd Shift)

About the role

Production team leaders at Allegion offer leadership skills and coaching to team members involved in various production activities including manufacturing, part processing, machine operation, packaging, unloading, and more. They ensure the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures, adhere to quality assurance standards, and maintain open communication with cross-functional departments to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Instruct teams on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures.
• Maintain quality assurance standards as per industry programs like ISO and Six Sigma.
• Maintain regular communication with cross-functional departments to plan and execute production goals efficiently.
• Encourage teamwork and supportive attitudes among team members.
• Develop problem-solving skills to continuously improve processes and assist team members in becoming problem solvers.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience in the process area you will be supporting, with working knowledge of area processes and job content.
• A high level of responsibility towards the safety and quality of your team, indicating your ability to lead.
