About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in front-end development to join our team supporting national security missions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, mission-critical web applications that serve vital government functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Angular or React frameworks, experience with backend services using Python, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance user interfaces. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts, to translate complex requirements into effective software solutions. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative applications within a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of related experience, or Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience, or High School diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of UI design principles, human-computer interaction, and UX best practices
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Experience building and maintaining web applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and RESTful API development
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and modern development workflows
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for frontend and backend deployments
  • Experience designing UI components that interact with backend services, including AWS Lambda and other AWS services
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS fundamentals
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and debug software applications within a collaborative team environment
  • Analyze client challenges and recommend suitable tools, technologies, and application solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive UI components and full application views using Angular or React
  • Implement backend services and integrate with RESTful APIs, including AWS-managed services such as Lambda
  • Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and promote best practices for testing and deployment
  • Translate UX design specifications and user research into accessible, high-performing frontend implementations
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, UX designers, and platform teams to define architecture patterns and shared components
  • Participate in agile development processes using tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Communicate progress and technical updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Build reusable components and libraries to enhance development efficiency
  • Deploy applications within secure cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud
