Accountabilities
- Contribute to AI-focused engineering initiatives by creating high-quality frontend implementations.
- Evaluate user interfaces and provide technical expertise to improve development workflows.
- Translate detailed component specifications, design systems, and UI mockups into accurate, production-quality web interfaces.
- Create responsive, pixel-perfect user interface components using TypeScript, CSS3, HTML, and modern frontend development practices.
- Ensure implementations follow accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and established design systems.
- Create reusable UI architectures and maintain consistency across frontend components.
- Identify and resolve design ambiguities, inconsistencies, and implementation challenges before delivery.
- Optimise frontend performance to deliver fast, reliable, and seamless experiences across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with remote engineering teams through technical documentation, code reviews, and constructive feedback.
- Provide frontend expertise to support the training and evaluation of advanced AI models.
- Contribute insights into best practices for modern frontend development and user interface quality.
Requirements
- Strong frontend development experience, excellent attention to visual detail, and the ability to independently deliver high-quality work in a remote environment.
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend software development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, CSS3, HTML, and modern responsive web development.
- Proven experience building pixel-perfect interfaces from design files, mockups, or screenshots.
- Experience working with component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards (WCAG), and frontend performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and component-driven development.
- Able to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a distributed environment.
- Experience with enterprise design systems or large-scale frontend applications is a plus.
- A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous but not required.
