Frontend Software Engineer

Accountabilities

• Contribute to AI-focused engineering initiatives by creating high-quality frontend implementations.
• Evaluate user interfaces and provide technical expertise to improve development workflows.
• Translate detailed component specifications, design systems, and UI mockups into accurate, production-quality web interfaces.
• Create responsive, pixel-perfect user interface components using TypeScript, CSS3, HTML, and modern frontend development practices.
• Ensure implementations follow accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and established design systems.
• Create reusable UI architectures and maintain consistency across frontend components.
• Identify and resolve design ambiguities, inconsistencies, and implementation challenges before delivery.
• Optimise frontend performance to deliver fast, reliable, and seamless experiences across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams through technical documentation, code reviews, and constructive feedback.
• Provide frontend expertise to support the training and evaluation of advanced AI models.
• Contribute insights into best practices for modern frontend development and user interface quality.

Requirements

• Strong frontend development experience, excellent attention to visual detail, and the ability to independently deliver high-quality work in a remote environment.
• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, CSS3, HTML, and modern responsive web development.
• Proven experience building pixel-perfect interfaces from design files, mockups, or screenshots.
• Experience working with component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards (WCAG), and frontend performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and component-driven development.
• Able to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a distributed environment.
• Experience with enterprise design systems or large-scale frontend applications is a plus.
• A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous but not required.
