Frontend Engineer - Vue.js (Remote)

Remote contract role for a Frontend Developer specializing in Vue.js to build and maintain user-facing interfaces for a global software-development client.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using Vue.js, ensuring high performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for frontend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing frontend applications to improve functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance platform functionality.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a strong understanding of component-based architecture.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex or Pinia.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

Pay

$20 – $45/hour
