Frontend Engineer

About the role

This is a foundational role for a Frontend Engineer at a venture-backed AI infrastructure company. The team is small, the ownership is real, and the people you'll work with care deeply about craft.

Responsibilities

• Work on the dashboard experience, including how it looks, feels, and functions.
• Develop and maintain the UI library, ensuring it is composable, flexible, and seamlessly fits into customer's UI.
• Rapidly prototype ideas using AI tools and have the freedom to come up with and test them.
• Talk directly to customers for user testing sessions, support questions, and feedback gathering.
• Own the full loop for full stack feature development, including design, implementation, documentation, and customer communication.
• Dive into the backend to make PRs and unblock yourself when needed.
• Ensure the frontend performance is snappy and delightful, given the data-intensive nature of the dashboard.

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering and designing digital products, preferably in B2B SaaS, developer tools, enterprise software, or technical products.
• Strong React skills with a full-stack range (bonus if you have a genuine willingness to go deep in Go on the backend).
• AI-forward mindset and enthusiasm for using AI to enhance productivity.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate design decisions and push back when necessary.
• Experience building customer-facing developer products.
• Strong product intuition; capable of working directly with customers to design features.

• Passionate about shaping the user experience of a platform used by some of the most technically sophisticated teams in software and AI.
• Ability to work closely with the founders, engineers, and customers to design experiences for complex, developer-facing workflows.
• Ownership mentality and eagerness to contribute to the establishment of design standards for the product.
