Frontend Developer

About the role

As a frontend engineer at ASB, you’ll build and integrate well-designed, performant, and impactful web applications for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams to solve pressing problems for our customers, providing a frontend perspective throughout the process.
• Take implemented HTML, CSS interfaces, string them together, and consume RESTful APIs to make them functional using frameworks such as VueJS / Angular / ReactJS.
• Write unit and functional tests to ensure that web applications behave as they should in different scenarios.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Frontend Interns as they start out their careers and take on projects.

Requirements

• You have a sense of responsibility to our customers.
• You hold yourself accountable to delivering quality work on time.
• You don’t need to be micromanaged.
• You care about how things look.
• You collaborate actively in the design process and ensure that your implementations mirror or improve the designs as much as possible.
• You’re very knowledgeable on a frontend framework such as Vue / React / Angular and have used it to great effect in the past, whether for personal or professional projects.
• You write code that is clean, maintainable, and scalable.
