Front Office Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our Pediatric/Family Medicine team in the Kaufman area. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in a child-friendly healthcare environment.
About the Role
The Front Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, managing front desk operations, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinic experience.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors
- Ensure patient waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming to all
- Treat all patients and guests with courtesy and respect by phone and in person
- Ensure our patients are scheduled for care and tended to in a timely manner
- Partner with medical staff and care teams to resolve patient concerns
- Collaborate with our enrollment and care teams to ensure a new patient experience
- Verify insurance coverage and financial assistance available for patients
- Ensure patients are up to date with accounts
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year of related experience, prior experience in a community-based clinic preferred
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with eCW or similar electronic medical record system
- Comfort level interacting with all individuals
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Skills
