Front Office Agent (Part Time)

About the Role

As a Front Office Agent at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, you will be the face of Hyatt, responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role offers opportunities for casual conversation and directly impacts the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries.

Hyatt Regency McCormick Place features over 1,258 guest rooms, 53 suites, and 13,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, with an additional 30,000 sq. ft. of conference center space. The hotel provides direct access to over 2.8 million square feet of space at the country’s largest convention center, along with dining options like Third Star, Sixes & Eights, and ARC Bar, as well as a 24-hour StayFit™ Gym.

Responsibilities

• Manage the guest registration process and communicate hotel services and promotions.
• Engage in casual conversation to enhance the guest experience.
• Process forms of payment and respond to guest inquiries.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• At least one year of front office experience is highly preferred.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Open and flexible availability.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position is $26.75.
