Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, following hotel procedures.
  • Process payments, verify billing information, and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments using the hotel’s property management system.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Cook up coordination with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely service.
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and messages professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to guest stays and front desk operations.
  • Uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, appearance, and hospitality.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (an associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality is a plus).
  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is a plus.
  • The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • A flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
