Front Office Agent
About the role
The Front Offices at Starwood Hotels are at the heart of every hotel, and our front-of-house staff are some of the most important members of the team, because they are the first to meet our guests. They also have the first opportunity to provide them with impeccable service, and often to reflect a first glimpse of the brand’s best self.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every guest’s experience is relaxing and effortless—both at arrival and departure and throughout the stay.
- Meet and greet guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Manage room reservations and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Operate within a 24-hour operation, being flexible and adaptable to changing schedules.
Requirements
- Passionate about hotel operations and guest service with a minimum of 1 year of similar work experience.
- Ability to speak a secondary language is a plus.
- Experience in guest or customer service, a team player, hard worker, multi-tasker, and detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
