About the role
The Front Desk Agents (Hotel Host) at Hyatt Place Madison/Downtown are responsible for creating a welcoming and exceptional guest experience across multiple areas of the hotel, including the Hotel Host Stand, Bakery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room, and TV den. They also handle guest check-in and check-out processes and meet the needs of meeting room users.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm and inviting environment for guests
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Service meeting rooms as needed
- Offer exceptional service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and comfort of assigned areas
- Work flexible hours, including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- Previous guest service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Strong command of the English language (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexible schedule
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
Qualifications
- Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests
