Front of the House Supervisor

Duties

• Support various departments and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Handle guest issues in a respectful manner
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Cash handling following Grove Bay SOP
• Expediting in adherence with the Grove Bay SOP
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant
• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars
• Prepare and edit documents, including correspondence, reports, and presentations
• Aid with data entry and record-keeping
• Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments
• Conduct research and gather information as needed
• Maintain office supplies and inventory
• Provide support to other team members as necessary
• Support all locations as a supervisor

Qualifications

• Must be an A Player and endorsed by the Management Team, Director of Operations, and Training Department
• Minimum of 4 months' experience working within a venue or another Grove Bay restaurant
• Prior supervisor experience
• Multiple language abilities are a plus; fluency in English is required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• Proven experience as a supervisor, administrative assistant, or in a similar role
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Previous experience in supervising, order entry, data entry, or proofreading is a plus

Requirements

Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree preferred.
