Front Of House Staff - Gordon Center
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee flow of people in and out of the theater
- Responsible for staffing the concessions; selling food and beverages to patrons.
- Assure the theater is open and ready for patrons in a timely manner.
- Responsible for responding to immediate patron concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a calm and professional demeanor.
- Ability to relate to many types of people.
- Two years of high school or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekday evenings and weekends.
- Creative problem-solving skills a must
PHYSICAL SKILLS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The employee may be required to frequently be on their feet for periods of time.
- At times the environment the employee is working in can be loud for long periods of time.
- The employee will be required to work in busy, fast-paced, and very crowded environments.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- The work environment may be fast paced and requires high energy and interaction with others.
- The workspace may be noisy, at times.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary (or Salary Range): $14/hour
The JCC reserves the right to revise or change job duties as the needs arise.
