Front of House (Cashier-Runner)

Responsibilities

• Take, process and serve customer orders and collect payment.
• Know in detail the menu and all its items including sauces, sides, sizes and ingredients.
• Advises customers on the best choices and answers their questions.
• Prepares and presents orders correctly and attractively.
• Uses cash register and related processes effectively.
• Organizes and stocks stations with necessary supplies and products.
• Provides superior customer services and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work station for the next shift.
• Makes suggestions to higher level management regarding issues outside their area of responsibility.
• Monitors product use and inventory management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proven working experience as a cashier, bartender, or server at a high-volume restaurant or similar type food service business.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately take and serve orders, process payments, and make correct change while under pressure.
• Able to work long and intense shifts.
