About the role

You will help Vital maintain existing websites as well as build new ones using the latest in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML technologies.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and build websites using the latest in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure each project meets usability and accessibility web standards and best practices.
• Work with project managers and designers on a regular basis to make each project the best it can be.
• Build responsive, adaptive, mobile-first websites.
• Multitask and prioritize, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Have experience with basic front end programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Requirements

• Passionate about building responsive, adaptive, mobile-first websites that meet usability and accessibility web standards and best practices.
• Highly collaborative in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to multitask and prioritize, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience or familiarity with PHP-based applications (we mostly use WordPress).
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Grunt or Gulp.
• An understanding of basic SEO principles.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of web development experience.
• Experience or familiarity with PHP-based applications (we mostly use WordPress).
• Familiarity with Git version control.
