Responsibilities

  • Engage in face-to-face, phone, and electronic sales using exceptional customer service and sales skills to meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
  • Serve as a supervisor, delegating or assigning work as needed, preparing and distributing work schedules, challenging and developing employees' performance, providing feedback, and holding direct reports accountable for their goals and job responsibilities.
  • Aid in the candidate selection and interview process for new hires, motivating employees, offering appropriate rewards, making recommendations to the supervisor regarding employee performance for coaching, review, and disciplinary efforts, and managing employee turnover.
  • Assist with the review and approval of weekly time record reports and employee expenses for payroll processing.
  • Maintain a neat, clean store and yard appearance, practice good merchandising, manage inventory levels, rotate stock, manage shrink, assist with physical inventory and cycle counts, and meet and/or exceed individual sales and margin goals.
  • Manage open order reports, ensuring department preparation for sales and promotions, and demonstrating and teaching effective upgrade selling and closing techniques.
  • Work with the manager to develop and grow the customer base and sales volume, and set an example for employees by teaching and mentoring them.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, complete required monthly safety involvement, use proper PPE when required, maintain a safe work environment, and always work safely.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, develop new and existing skills through educational programs, and attend Company/store meetings.

Pay

$20 - $24 per hour with annual performance-based raises.

Schedule

Ideal retail hours with paid holidays and PTO.

Other

Attendance at Company/store meetings is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned.
