Front End Lead Associate - Retail

Role Overview: Lead front-end sales associates, ensuring efficient replenishment of impulse fixtures and delivering exceptional customer service. Provide support to management as needed. Key Responsibilities Supervise sales associates operating multiple registers, ensuring smooth transaction flow.Operate cash registers accurately, including authorizing voids and making bank deposits.Maintain cash accountability, monitor cash levels, and assist with security protocols.Monitor surveillance cameras for unusual activities and supply change to cashiers.Complete documentation and training new cashiers on policies, procedures, and customer engagement.Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the front end area.Assist with cash handling, drawer pulls, and adherence to cash control procedures. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in basic math and cash handling procedures.Knowledge of cash register functions and safety policies.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to read plan-o-grams and follow merchandise presentation standards.Willingness to comply with company policies and obtain food handling certifications, if required. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent.One to two years of retail experience; prior lead or grocery experience preferred.Relevant food handling certifications may be required based on location.
