Front End Engineer II, Life Sciences Applied AI

About the role

As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we are developing an end-user enterprise application (outside of console) that orchestrates multiple AI agents to streamline the entire clinical trial process, from planning, monitoring to FDA submission. The team operates like a startup where we work with early beta customers to iterate quickly. We are looking for entrepreneurial Front End Engineers to work on human<->AI Agent experiences working with product, design, and science teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user-facing features for the clinical trials application
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Science to ensure alignment and success
  • Ensure high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
  • Optimize performance and maintain code quality
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
  • 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React

Qualifications

  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies

Skills

  • Strong understanding of front-end web technologies
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
