Front-End Developer, Senior-JCC2-R

Responsibilities

• Provides subject-matter proficiency for assigned tasks, including analysis, planning, and developing requirements documents.
• Builds functional models, develops procedures, and creates functional architectures.
• Performs front-end design and development tasks such as creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other documentation for PMO and stakeholder review.
• Plans and implements modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs).
• Constructs and optimizes UI elements, system navigation practices, and user-facing features to enhance operator ease of use.
• Prepares, conducts, and documents systems tests to verify operability and compliance with project standards.
• Engages in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.
• Generates system wireframes, mockups, and other design artifacts considering multiple user personas.
• Leads software development programs and projects.
• Develops in cloud environments.

Requirements

• 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• 10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages.
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in back-end web design and development.
• 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 5 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 5 years of experience leading software development programs/projects.
• Demonstrated experience using UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience using Agile Test-Driven Development.
• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
