About the role
Lead development of complex software systems, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Mentor and train junior developers in best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Skills
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with API design and RESTful services.
