About the role
The Front Desk Supervisor will supervise the Guest Services staff while providing friendly, efficient service. The position involves supervising the Guest Services staff, welcoming guests, assisting with guest concerns, following hotel procedures, and managing shuttle services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Guest Services staff
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
- Aid Guest Services staff, as needed, with any guest concerns
- Follow established hotel procedures at all times
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
- Maintain positive communication between all departments
- Manage and assist shuttle services
Requirements
- Minimum of (2) years of hotel guest services experience
- Passion for the hospitality industry and exceptional service
- Attendance and punctuality are crucial
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented to ensure accurate reservations and billing
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior Opera training and/or knowledge is preferred
- Valid drivers license and willingness to drive hotel shuttle
