Front Desk Specialist

About the role

The Front Desk Specialist will serve as the front-of-the-house liaison to facilitate an exceptional guest experience, acting as the primary point of contact for guests checking into the resort and handling all folio transactions and check-out processes. This role supports the Marketing Face to Face team during check-in, provides technical and service expertise for business center and resort Wi-Fi access, and ensures great first and last impressions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the overall guest experience from check-in through check-out, handling complex tasks such as room changes, inventory moves, and folio adjustments
• Create and issue keys while ensuring the safety and security of all owners and guests
• Exceed guest expectations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns with urgency and satisfaction
• Maintain a house bank, perform end-of-day reporting of receipts, and process guest payments
• Calculate visit costs, verify customer credit, and establish payment methods
• Communicate with Housekeeping to expedite unit cleaning
• Assist guests with various questions and concerns, including folio posting, cash handling, and key control
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a resort/hotel front office environment
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Qualifications

• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to learn timeshare software applications
• Basic knowledge of office equipment required for the role
• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays
