Front Desk Representative Gastroenterology
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Not include Job ID.
We must remove boilerplate: EEO statement, privacy policy, etc.
We need to decide which sections to include.
Potential sections:
- About the role (intro + position summary maybe)
- Responsibilities (list of duties)
- Requirements (minimum qualifications)
- Qualifications (preferred qualifications)
- Skills (maybe we can extract skills from responsibilities: communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking, etc.) But we could also put skills under Responsibilities or Requirements. The instruction says use sections only when posting has real specific content. There's explicit mention of skills: "Success requires excellent communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and a genuine commitment..." Also "Strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software are required." That's a skill. So we could have a Skills section.
- Schedule (we have schedule)
- Benefits: none specific, so omit.
- Pay: none, omit.
We need to ensure we don't create empty sections.
Let's extract content.
Intro: "Great careers are built at Banner Health. We understand that talented health care professionals appreciate having options. We are proud to offer our team members many career and lifestyle choices throughout our network of facilities. Apply today, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Gastroenterology is the treatment of conditions and diseases of the digestive system. Whether patients have acid reflux or gastrointestinal cancer, we are here to help patients get back on the road to wellness. Our specialists work closely with patients to develop an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. No matter the condition, our goal is to lead them back to the daily life and activities they love."
That's generic but still substantive about the organization and role context. Could be About the role.
Then: "As a Front Desk Patient Financial Services Representative you will be a contact for patients coming into the GI clinic, delivering exceptional and empathetic customer service. Responsibilities include check-in and check-out paperwork, scheduling appointments, insurance verifications, and payment collections. Success requires excellent communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and a genuine commitment to making patients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their care journey."
That's also part of About the role.
Then Location line: we could include in About the role as a paragraph.
Then Schedule line: separate.
Then Position Summary paragraph: "This position coordinates a smooth patient flow process by answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, providing registration of patient and insurance information, obtaining required signatures following established processes, procedures and standards. This position also verifies insurance coverage, validates referrals and authorizations, collects patient liability and provides financial guidance to patients to maximize medical services reimbursement efforts. This also includes accurately posting patients at the point of service and releasing information in accordance with organizational and compliance policies and guidelines."
That's also responsibilities but could be part of About the role or Responsibilities.
Then Core Functions list: many bullet-like sentences. Those are duties/responsibilities.
We can combine Responsibilities section with those bullet points.
Minimum Qualifications: list.
Preferred Qualifications: list.
Additional Related Education And/or Experience Preferred: maybe part of Preferred.
We'll produce sections:
About the role
... (intro + as a Front Desk ... + location maybe)
Responsibilities
- ... (list of duties from Responsibilities sentence + Position Summary + Core Functions)
But we need to avoid duplication. We'll combine all duty sentences into list items.
Let's extract duty sentences:
From "Responsibilities include check-in and check-out paperwork, scheduling appointments, insurance verifications, and payment collections."
From Position Summary:

- Primary external customers include patients and their families, physician office staff and third party payors.
We need to be careful not to include too granular but it's okay.
We'll produce list items for each distinct duty.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
- Requires knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services or insurance industry experience processes normally acquired over one or more years of work experience.
- Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and to work independently.

- An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience with the Company’s systems and processes is preferred.
- Previous cash collections experience is preferred.
- Additional Related Education And/or Experience Preferred (maybe redundant). We'll treat as: Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
We could combine.
Skills section: maybe we can extract skills: excellent communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, genuine commitment, strong interpersonal, oral, written communication, strong knowledge of office software, etc. But we already have qualifications covering skills. Might be redundant. The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine Skills into Requirements or Qualifications. But we have separate headings for Requirements and Qualifications. We could treat Minimum Qualifications as Requirements, Preferred Qualifications as Qualifications. Skills maybe not needed separately.
Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (minimum qualifications), Qualifications (preferred), Schedule.
We must not include Benefits or Pay.
Now produce HTML.
We need to ensure we don't include any boilerplate like EEO statement, privacy policy, etc.
Let's craft About the role paragraph(s). Could be multiple inside the section? The instruction: Use
for prose. Could have multiple paragraphs.
We'll put:

Location: Banner Health Clinic Chandler Medical Pavilion GI 1125 S. Alma School Rd Suite 210 Chandler, AZ 85286
That seems good.
Now Responsibilities section: We'll produce with list items. We need to ensure we capture all duties without too much redundancy. We'll combine similar items.
Let's draft list items:
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
- Provide registration of patient and insurance information; obtain required signatures.
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility; validate referrals and authorizations.
- Collect patient liability and provide financial guidance to maximize reimbursement.
- Accurately post patients at point of service and release information
