Front Desk Receptionist (Weekends) - Per Diem

HRI Hospital is a 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. About the role

This is a per-diem, weekend position with availability for day (7am - 3:30pm) and/or evening (3pm - 11:30pm) shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Hourly shift differentials are offered for both evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hospital switchboard in a professional, courteous, and effective manner.
• Respond to and activate hospital emergency codes and pages in a responsible and timely manner.
• Welcome visitors to the hospital in a warm, professional, and helpful manner.
• Protect confidentiality of hospitalized patients.
• Facilitate internal hospital communications in a professional and efficient manner.
• Consistently, accurately, and neatly perform related clerical duties and other tasks assigned by supervisor, including typing and copying.
• Maintain both personal and work area in an appropriate, professional, and neat manner.
• Reflect professional reliability and dependability through compliance with the hospital attendance policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; MS4 experience preferred.
• Experience operating a switchboard, computer, and other business equipment.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to multitask.
