Front Desk Receptionist (Weekends) - Per Diem

About the role
This is a per-diem, weekend position with availability for day (7am - 3:30pm) and/or evening (3pm - 11:30pm) shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Hourly shift differentials are offered for both evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate the hospital switchboard in a professional, courteous, and effective manner.
- Respond to and activate hospital emergency codes and pages in a responsible and timely manner.
- Welcome visitors to the hospital in a warm, professional, and helpful manner.
- Protect confidentiality of hospitalized patients.
- Facilitate internal hospital communications in a professional and efficient manner.
- Consistently, accurately, and neatly perform related clerical duties and other tasks assigned by supervisor, including typing and copying.
- Maintain both personal and work area in an appropriate, professional, and neat manner.
- Reflect professional reliability and dependability through compliance with the hospital attendance policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; MS4 experience preferred.
- Experience operating a switchboard, computer, and other business equipment.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to multitask.
