Front Desk Receptionist - Per Diem
Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital specializing in psychiatric and detox treatment. About the role
Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a per diem/on call Front Desk Receptionist at our Kirkland location. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, providing quality and efficient service for internal and external customers, answering and routing multiple phone lines, and responding to routine questions. Additionally, this role assists with the coordination of patient admissions, discharge processes, monitors patients while in the lobby, and performs other related clerical duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

- Answer and route multiple phone lines, responding to routine questions.
- Assist with the coordination of patient admissions and discharge processes.

- Perform other related clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment, and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
- May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
- Successful completion of Verbal De-Escalation Certification; provided during Fairfax new hire training.
