Job Summary: The Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians, vendors and staffAdmit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in systemCollect balances due and document in the billing systemHandle funds per office procedureAnswer incoming phone callsAssist with chart prep and other business office duties necessaryCoordinating with office on scheduling for procedures and anesthesia coverageMay be asked to float to other locations for staff coverageMUST be reliable, dedicated, personable, professional and have a strong attention to detail. Pay: 19.29 - 22.87 Required Skills: High school graduate or equivalent.One year previous experience or some health care clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.Good communication skills.
