Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and welcoming Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This individual will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and play a key role in supporting daily front office operations.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in person and over the phone
- Answer multi-line phone systems and route calls or take messages appropriately
- Check in patients, verify insurance, and collect necessary identification and paperwork
- Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collect co-pays and other payments, provide receipts, and reconcile end-of-day reports
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits
- Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception and lobby area
- Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to support workflow

Required Experience
- Prior front desk or receptionist experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with patient check-in procedures and medical terminology a plus
- Experience working with insurance verification and patient scheduling systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards
