We are looking for a Front Office Coordinator who is passionate about helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that every patient interaction matters.
Responsibilities
- Greeting every patient with professionalism, warmth, and empathy
- Checking patients in and out efficiently
- Verifying insurance and collecting co-pays and balances
- Answering multi-line phones with exceptional customer service
- Scheduling new and follow-up appointments
- Cooking provider schedules and maintaining appointment accuracy
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Communicating with attorneys, employers, adjusters, referral sources, and other healthcare providers when appropriate
- Aiding patients with questions regarding appointments and clinic processes
- Helping maintain smooth clinic flow by working closely with providers, medical assistants, care coordinators, and leadership
- Keeping the reception area organized, welcoming, and professional
- Supporting clinic initiatives and helping wherever needed to ensure exceptional patient care
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Minimum 2 years of front office or medical receptionist experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience with personal injury, workers’ compensation, or family medicine
- EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Insurance verification experience
- Medical terminology knowledge
