Job Responsibilities

- MUST be well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated with strong multi-taking skills.
- Verify insurance benefits.
- Check out all new patients and schedule them based on the prescribed treatment plan.
- Record and schedule all re-evaluation dates based on treatment plan.
- Review insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility with patients.
- Collect payment for patient treatment plan with the goal of the patient pre-paying for care.
- Prepare patient financial agreements based on prescribed treatment plan.
- Review all financial obligations with the patient and set up payment plan when required.
- Cookordination with the insurance department for scheduling patient procedures once pre-authorization from the insurance company is approved.
- Track and Monitor treatment plans.
- Follow-up with patients.
- Track and monitor patient re-evaluation appointments to ensure that the prescribed treatment plan has been completed.
- Ensure patient paperwork prior seeing the healthcare provider on re-evaluation day.
- Follow-up with patients that have not completed their prescribed treatment plan.
- Review patient travel card and make sure all prescribed services and products are received by the patient and charges are entered.
- Participate as an active part of morning huddles and weekly team meetings providing patient updates and information.
Qualifications
- Insurance verification experience preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience.
- Friendly, GREAT communicator and willing to take initiative.
