Front Desk Night Auditor - Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia
As a Front Desk Night Audit, you’ll create memorable guest experiences by handling transactions, offering local insights, and ensuring a warm, friction-free stay. This role includes a $1 shift differential pay.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide a warm, memorable experience.
- Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or by phone.
- Manage guest bookings, identify up-selling opportunities, and suggest ways to enhance their stay.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, including verifying IDs, issuing room keys, and managing safety deposit boxes.
- Anticipate and record guest preferences, handle messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Serve as a trusted contact for guests, assisting with billing issues, local recommendations, and escalating to management when needed.
- Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear required protective gear.
- Maintain a professional appearance and act as a brand ambassador.
- Stay informed about daily events and activities.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties to support colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a college or university degree is a bonus but not required.
- At least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service role (ideal but not mandatory).
- Fluency in the local language; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to turn guest concerns into positive experiences.
- Comfort with reading, writing, basic math, and computer systems.
- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
