Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests
- Aid with inquiries about community events and programs
- Operate computer systems to process program registrations and related tasks
- Monitor activities in various areas such as exercise equipment, aerobic room, aquatic areas, outdoor gaming area, locker rooms, classrooms, crafts, and ballroom
- Report any safety and facility concerns to Management
- Advise residents and guests on facility policies and procedures
- Perform minor custodial duties such as wiping down machines and picking up discarded items
- Perform facility opening and closing procedures
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of Health/Wellness areas
- Validate resident/guest participation and issue fitness equipment upon request
- Respond to emergency situations as necessary based on First Aid/CPR training and/or facility procedures
Requirements
- Advanced customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Exceptional organization and tracking skills
- Ability to function efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact and work positively with staff and homeowners at all levels
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department and with other departments
- Experience with Etrak or related Gym Check-In Systems preferred but not required
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be flexible and capable of working hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to speak English clearly and understandably
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting up to 45 lbs, and moving objects around the association and recreation center facilities
