COPA STC (Comprehensive and Objective Performance Assessments) is a 110,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art soccer training facility located at the Shadelands SportsMall in Walnut Creek, California. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Manager on Duty. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience throughout their time at COPA STC.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations
- Greet all members, guests, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handle member and guest check-ins, walk-ins, and inquiries efficiently.
- Answer phones promptly and professionally; respond to voicemails and emails as needed.
- Proactively address and resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints.
- Perform routine hourly attendance checks and facility walkthroughs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk workspace.
- Restock and maintain appearance of the Pro Shop, vending machines, concessions, and first aid kits.
- Administrative & Support Duties
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all COPA STC programs, memberships, events, rentals, and schedules.
- Aid customers with purchases, registrations, and bookings for:- Memberships
- Camps
- Youth and Adult Leagues
- Facility Rentals
- Open Play and Events
- Create and distribute Welcome Boxes for new members.
- Assist with basic facility maintenance or coordination of support requests as needed.

- Calm, empathetic, and confident demeanor, even under pressure.
- Ability to multitask effectively across competing priorities.
- Passion for soccer, youth development, and community programming.
- Reliable and punctual with a customer-first mindset.
- Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or front desk role (preferred).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work required shifts:- Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Availability on weekends and evenings is required.
