Job Summary

As a Front Desk Lead at Family Practice Associates - Ooltewah, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, overseeing front desk operations and ensuring a smooth, positive patient experience. Every day you will manage reception, schedule appointments, handle calls, guide check-in/out, and delegate tasks, ensuring clear communication and efficient team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively and maintain clear lines of communication
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to obtain charge information for all patients
  • Code procedures performed and diagnoses on charge
  • Cover copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers
  • Resolve complex patient billing inquiries and problems

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 4 years billing experience in a health care organization
  • 4 years office experience
