Front Desk Host

How would you like a position where you can talk to all kinds of people and play a crucial part in smooth retail operations? At Floyd's 99 Barbershop, we're hiring a detail-oriented and customer service-driven person as a full-time Front Desk Host! Help keep the party going at our Burbank, CA beauty shop.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Answer customer questions and take messages for staff
• Speak with customers about their desired services and provide pricing information
• Upsell beauty treatments when possible
• Generate quotes and figure out wait times
• Assist with general cleaning duties
• Maintain a positive, seamless retail environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience in the retail, hospitality, or beauty industries
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Fantastic collaboration skills with an ability to communicate over the phone and in person
• Commitment to helping others and working with a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Pay

Competitive pay of $17.50/hour.

Schedule

Weekends and evening availability are of high value.
