Front Desk - Edge Ice Arena
About the role
Foothills is seeking a Front Desk Associate for the Edge Ice Arena. Front Desk Associates provide outstanding customer service by greeting everyone that enters the facility, directing calls, and answering inquiries on a wide range of District services/programs, rates, and policies. Also responsible for handling program registrations, point of sale transactions, skate sharpening, and assisting with the cleanliness of the front desk/lobby area and the facility in general.
Responsibilities
- Greet everyone that enters the facility
- Direct calls and answer inquiries on a wide range of District services/programs, rates, and policies
- Handle program registrations
- Perform point of sale transactions
- Sharpen hockey/figure skates (preferred)
- Absorb and assist with the cleanliness of the front desk/lobby area and the facility in general
Requirements
- One year of retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to sharpen hockey/figure skates preferred
- Accurate cash handling experience strongly preferred
- PC computer knowledge and skills in Windows and MS Office
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications preferred, required within 60 days of hire
- Flexibility to work shifts ranging from morning to evening hours, weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application

- Computer literacy (Windows and MS Office)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (preferred)
