Front Desk Clerk

Oxford Casino Hotel, located in Oxford, Maine, is part of Churchill Downs Incorporated and has seen significant growth since it opened in 2012. The casino offers a variety of gaming options, including 23 table games and over 900 slot machines, along with 2 restaurants and a 107-room hotel featuring 6 suites. Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls; operate telephone system to receive and relay guest messages
• Answer guest questions regarding the facility and surrounding area
• Act as a sales member to promote internal events, dining, and packages
• Promote outstanding customer relations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year prior experience in a guest service capacity
• Excellent guest service skills; attentive and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Effective communication skills with guests and co-workers
• Basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions
• Prior computer experience with Microsoft Office and email; point-of-sale system experience preferred
• Ability to create a positive and upbeat work environment

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

This is a sedentary position, and an ergonomic workstation with frequent breaks will be provided.

Pay

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
