About the role
As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll work independently without direct supervision. You’ll need strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and able to multitask. You’ll meet and greet residents, check guests and service providers in/out, understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures, monitor and operate electronic security control systems, and accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Monitor Emergency Response System.
- Greet and direct Residents, guests, and invitees.
- Monitor and control Electronic Security Control Systems.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control access to the building.
- Maintain daily log, records, and forms.
- Resolve and follow-up on all complaints/issues.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- May be assigned other duties by the on-site property manager.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- College-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of business experience preferred.
- Computer literacy: command of information system hardware/software is preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet job functions.
- Complete all required forms.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
