Job Summary
UFC GYM is an original fitness and conditioning brand that partners with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and New Evolution Ventures (NEV) to provide fitness programs inspired by elite UFC athletes. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join our growing community.
About the Role
At UFC GYM, you will be part of a passionate and dedicated team committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and promoting a positive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet members and guests as they enter and leave the club, maintaining a professional and high-energy atmosphere.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, transferring them promptly to the correct department or individual.
- Verify memberships, enroll members for classes, and check-in prospective members for the sales team.
- Address member questions directly or guide them to the appropriate lead for further assistance.
- Sell supplements, apparel, and gear. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Keep the front desk and lobby area neat, clean, and organized.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory or product pricing as needed.
- Call members regarding past-due accounts to help them maintain their active status.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including all meal and rest break periods.
- Stay focused on member needs, avoiding non-work-related activities while on duty.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or food service.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly personality, and the ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and experience handling multiple phone lines.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current CPR/AED certification for overnight staff.
- The ability to stand for a full shift and occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
