About the role

The Cambria Hotel Columbia Downtown is a world-class property within Pyramid Hotel Group, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and fosters success.

Responsibilities

  • Create a memorable first impression for guests through engaging interactions.
  • Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, including checking in, registering guests, and addressing their needs.
  • Note and fulfill special requests for guests.
  • Resolve problems and "WOW" guests during check-in, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Promote and sell special hotel programs to guests.
  • Interact professionally with hotel/resort staff, assisting other departments as needed.
  • Maintain house bank and communicate pertinent information to the manager on duty.
  • Follow set procedures for posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
  • Work in a fast-paced setting, including various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A strong desire to make an impact on others.
  • An outgoing and engaging personality.
  • Computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Pay

$15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
