Pet Paradise is seeking Front Desk Associates with a passion for pets to join the team at World Golf Village resort.
Essential Functions
- Welcome pet parents and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a positive first interaction
- Organize and process check-ins and check-outs
- Walk pets for drop-off and pick-up, and coordinate suite placement
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and respond to voicemails in a timely, problem-solving manner
- Complete cashier and point of sale operations
- Communicate and follow through with pet parent and resort leadership requests
- Maintain cleanliness of the entranceway and lobby, including restrooms
- Support the cat room according to resort routines
- Communicate with the veterinary service team regarding appointments and arrivals
- Take off and put on harnesses at check-in and check-out
- Ensure suites are set up for each pet
- Familiar with different types of harnesses
Qualifications
- One to two years in a customer service role (Customer Service, Call Center, Receptionist)
- Detailed, but can work with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service
- Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail, especially where documentation is concerned
- Enjoys problem solving in order to provide our guests and customers with a premier experience
- Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Flexible to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
