About the Role

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a friendly, professional, and hospitality-driven part-time Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Springhill Suites in Terre Haute, Indiana. As the face of the hotel, you'll play a key role in creating memorable first impressions and delivering exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing service that keeps guests coming back.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly
• Assist guests with reservations, room requests, and special accommodations
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions
• Maintain accurate guest information and room assignments
• Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready front desk environment
• Follow company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures
• Support overall hotel operations as needed

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience required
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer proficiency and phone skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
