About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Tulsa Downtown is a premier full-service hotel located in the heart of downtown Tulsa. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Front Office team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest information and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, and assisting guests with check-out.
  • Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for, use the point-of-sale system, handle money, process credit and debit cards, accept and record various forms of payment, convert foreign currency, make change, and process gift certificates and cards.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge.
  • Answer guest questions and inquiries, use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, and maximize room occupancy.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and field guest complaints, conducting research and negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or in a high-volume industry dealing with customers.
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest experiences to make them memorable.
  • Able to work a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • A team spirit.
  • Hilton brand experience a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
